Music and Magic: Fundraising event for Cotton Tree, Liberia

Monday, April 3, 2017

Our Music and Magic fundraiser was a fantastic evening with huge amounts of talent on show. Spellbinding magic from the incredible David Taylor and entertaining Fletcher Ransberry left the audience dumbfounded. We also enjoyed the magical talents of the Blue Coat Jazz Band and Gospel Choir whose performances entertained and mystified. They left their audience wondering how secondary and sixth form students could have so much musical mastery. All four acts were utterly fantastic and we are grateful for supporting such an important cause.

Andy Ransberry, who organised the event, shared the vision of the Concrete Foundation School in Cotton Tree, Liberia. He explained how education provides opportunities for young people to fulfil their potential and is the foundation for all professions.

We would like to thank everyone who came to the event and contributed to its success. Together, £1,700 was raised that will help to provide life changing opportunities for the community in Cotton Tree.

Below are some of the images from what was a fantastic evening.
